The key point to deal with medical emergencies in the workplace is to anticipate the possible emergencies prior to they occur so that you have a medical procedure that you can initiate immediately.   

Employers have responsibilities to ensure a healthy and safe workplace for employees and it involves teaching employees how to deal with medical emergencies in their workplace. Designated employees need to receive first aid training and develop the skills and confidence to deal with medical emergencies, such as how to perform CPR and how to stop persistent bleeding.
